QUETTA: The banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for killing Mir Attaur Rehman Mengal, who was gunned down in the Aranji area of Khuzdar on Sunday.
In a statement issued on Monday, a BLA spokesperson said the group conducted the attack which killed Mr Mengal along with his colleagues.
He also claimed that in December 2011, the Majeed Brigade of BLA had conducted a suicide attack at the resident of Shafiq Mengal in Quetta but he survived the attack.
